Man, my dogs dying.

I really feel terrible, my friend of 14 years
is on her way out. She keeps whining everytime
she tries to move and stumbles when she's on her
feet.

Is there any type of pain killer I could buy for her
to ease her agony?

Put her down man. I know its terrible, its really rough. I love Dogs, its such a shame that they cannot live as long as us. So hard to put down a friend like that. I remember so clearly putting my Dog down, such a vivid day in my mind. If you love her you don't want her to suffer man.

I know how it feels. It's just her time to put her down man, I know it hurts, but try to make her last days the best.
They are great friends, and its always hard to let a pet go after years and years of good times.I wish you and her to the best man.:sad:

Nah, I wouldn't want to be put down if I was dying,
although some barbituates would be nice.

That's what I was wondering, if there was any
pain killers I could buy for her? (that won't kill her)

sorry man, i know how it feels, cried for 3 weeks.
i really loved my dog.
i am still missing her.
but that's life and i have to deal with it.:sad:

Dude, it's more humane if it's suffering. I wouldn't give your dog barbiturates.

I had to put down a dog a few months ago. One Mosin-Nagant round to the back of the head. The poor animal didn't feel a thing.

The faster you can get over it, the faster you can start enjoying life.
Put your dog down and feel good about it. Time for a new one.

take her to the vet and they can give you some tramadol for her

One dead dog was all I could handle ,I dont think I could ever have one again for that reason.......sorry to say it`s time to put her down .........watch her suffer for as long as you can take it or put her out of her misery with a shot....they just drift off to sleep forever.......

It really saddens me to hear this.......I can`t deal with this type of stuff.

If your dogs in pain man, do you really want to keep it alive for what?  Your quality of life?

If there is nothing that can be done to cure her, then drugs will just make her suffering longer

Think your mindset is selfish to be honest. Your Dog's time has come, so instead of ending its suffering you're going to drug it up? Doesn't sound like something a friend should be doing.
