Dude, research this before giving your dog aspirin. Just don't take advice from some random dude who says  he is "pretty sure". Her time is nearing. Don't make her suffer more then she needs to. I'm sorry, but do whats best for her. It will hurt but you will be happy knowing that she does not need to suffer anymore and is in peace.

Yes. I have lost one dog of my own and watched many other Dogs take the same trip. I remember very clearly when my Dog was getting old he could not even walk. My Dad would have to transport her inside of a towel (and he was a big Dog, Great Pyrinese). He was suffering, you could tell that he needed to rest. I feel its just as bad as people keeping their relatives on respirators when it is clear that the person would much rather let go.

how much does your dog weigh what breed is it i really hate to hear that she is suffering my wife would know how much to give her she is a vet tech but its not regular asprin its baby 81mg that you give them

I have no problem with hunting....but a buddy of mines dad would shoot the dogs to put em down...I could never do that ...it freaked me out to hear about it,much less see it,I dont care how sick or suffering it was.......the shot at the vet is the way to go.

Dude my heart goes out to you I just found out this week my oldest dog 12 years Penny (golden retriever)has lymphnotic Cancer and has prolly 3-4 weeks left before it just overtakes here system...She has had I good life and am very sad but It's her Time I have no control..You're not in this alone ..you're dog knows also......e

see a vet, and get her put down painlessly.

My dog of 8 years had to be put down because of excruciating pain from hip cancer....

Its been awhile since my first Dog and I would really love to have another Dog (I'm lucky my girlfriend has a great dog named Oreo who is awesome, love playing with her), but rather it first happened I definitely did not feel I could handle another. I grew up alongside my first Dog, he was so gentle. He'd play with my cars and yet he was so large I could ride him around like a horse. He had such human eyes and he was always so happy. I really miss that dog.

That's why I had to do it. It was my uncle's dog, and he kept saying he was going to, going to, going to, going to take it to the vet. Needless to say, he was a little upset when he found out what happened. (that's the last time I shoot a dog in front of kids)

I agree with -PolkAudio- their is no need to keep the dog alive if it's quality of life is horrible..It's gotta be the hardest thing..but the right thing to do.....e

I have an affinity for intelligent, psychologically balanced dogs.  A true non-human companion.  Not the annoying as fuck barking dogs, or the worthless dogs that can't do any tricks and just shit and piss in the house.
