I saw them live two years ago, they put on one hell of a show. I used to be obsessed with these guys but I've kind of moved onto electronic music. I still love throwing on some of their old stuff when in the mood to rawk out.

I like Float On.  I have heard a bunch of their other stuff and it all sounds the same to me :ooo: , but I haven't given it a close listen.

Modest Mouse is up there as one of my favorite bands although I prefer their older stuff to what's been released lately. I'd love to see them live one day.

Surprised nobody's mentioned Ugly Casanova yet.

I was at a party one time, completely hammered.
"Shit Luck" came on, and I got so pumped up that I punched some kid I didn't know right in the face.
Luckily he was also plastered, and we were in a huge crowd.  I slipped away before he could realize it was me.

I love Modest Mouse.

the moon & antarctica and the lonesome crowded west are 2 of my favorite albums ever. i've played the hell out of them over the last 6 or so years and still haven't managed to get sick of them

hoping i get to see them live one day. they're playing here in a week...and i'm completely broke and jobless :mad:

Anything earlier than Good News is AMAZING!!!

My favorite is the EP "Everywhere and His Nasty Parlour Tricks"

Moon and Antarctica and Lonesome Crowded West are musts.

And there's nothing like listening to "This is a Long Drive for Someone With Nothing To Think About" when I'm on a long drive and I have nothing to think about.

they were amazing when i saw them a few years, but i think they're music quality has been on a small decline since the good old days. when i saw them last year- their second drummer seemed like a weird addition

still a kick ass band though!

All time favourite song is probably stars are projectors.

I remember the very first time I heard them. My friend was driving my drunk ass home. My freshman year in college - 2003. I instantaneously fell in love.

Been enjoying Modest Mouse and Isaac Brock's genius for 3 or 4 years now.

Talking Shit About a Pretty Sunset and Edit the Sad Parts are my all time favs.

I love modest mouse so much, my favorite band.

I seen them live here in halifax about a week ago. Best concert i've ever seen, I was also on lots of coke so it was amazing.
