Modest Mouse Kicks Ass.......

I dont care what you fuckers think or anyone else who tries to be "Hardcore" By saying modest mouse sucks ass. And dont say they were better back in the day because honestly their old music fucking SUCKED.

They are the closest thing that our generation (Anyone under 24) Is going to get to psychedelic rock. Everyone else is a bunch of whining emo bitches or is a Rap singer with no talent.

i think 311 and radiohead have alot of psychadelic rock and i dont think anyone would consider them whiny emo bitches. they are great bands

I have nothing against Modest Mouse's new music, I actually enjoy it. But, to say their old music sucks is absurd. The Lonesome Crowded West is the quintessential indie album of the 90s. I will however agree that their firs album, Sad Sappy Sucker, sucks because that album is pretty damn bad.

Mars Volta is also an ok band of this generation thats pretty psychedelic and their first album is good...

But they are a little on the hipster side and, I don't wanna say this, but....."emo" side. (Hate that stupid word) So I guess they would not totally qualify.

I like to keep the fact that I listen to Modest Mouse under wraps. People beak that band SO much. Its nuts. All my friends hate them. I thought for a while I was the only person who thought they were good.

I think its just a very unconventional style of music... possibly a little ahead of its time.

I enjoy Modest Mouse in moderate doses.  As has been said, Lonesome Crowded West is a great album; I also liked the Fruit That Ate Itself, This is a Long Drive For Someone With Nothing To Think About, Building Nothing Out Of Something, and The Moon & Antarctica.  Their lastest albums I don't really enjoy at all.

Mars Volta rocks. Sparta is good too. At the Drive In was okay, but I like Mars Volta and Sparta more.

So all in all, it was a good thing At the Drive In broke up.
