Hey guys,

I was wondering how we could keep shrooms fresh?

We have liberty caps all over the damn place and I would like to do some tests - like how to keep them fresh if I'd put them in a bag and send them with the mail.

The fridge works great to keep things fresh for a while. You couldn't really sent fresh mushrooms in the mail because the heat and time it would take to travel I think in that small package would cause the mushrooms to spoil. Maybe if you sent overnight shipping.

The only alternative to this is to keep your mushrooms in a BIG ol' jar of honey. The honey acts as a natural preservative if it has completed covered all your mushrooms and them some. In the fridge they would last twelve to fourteen days. In the mail it would last safely about eight to ten.

Just be aware that sending food outside of your own country or the european union is probably going to have people inspecting your package. This is the only thing that you should fear as far as security goes.

Don't let anyone tell you it's a stupid idea to send drugs. They are fucking retarded. There are thousands of people sending MASSIVE amounts of drugs in the mail everyday. Online private source boards have members sending out tens of packages a day and this microcommunity of drug buyers/sellers run into very little trouble. The sheer volume of mail that is generated everyday is not even close to being able to be monitored closely everyday. They don't even have enough people with the amount of mail that is generated to stop and do random searches.

Well, the honey jar thing is just funny, but wouldn't suit me.

What I'm thinking, is that if I could send the Liberty Caps from my country with airmail (4-5 days), would they still be fresh.

Because I could just send them in a little envolope, 1/8 at a time or 1 oz even. oz er 30 grams (we use grams).

Now i've dryed about 200 shrooms, and they seem pretty good.

If I put them in a seeledplasticbag and send them by airmail? That should work right - I'm learning it! :P

Would anyone be interested in doing a little research, if I say send you some mushies.

Lets get some conversation started.
