Hi same old im new to this, just want to make sure nothing is wrong, can only find pics of Hyphal knots that are wayy smaller than the ones i have

what is that in your fruiting chamber? doesnt look like perlite.

it's perlite , it's just very fine, only ones i could find in my area. seems to do its job...

But those large bumps? are they okay? or an indication something isn't right.

The large bumps are OK, but they're not hyphal knots.  Hyphal knots are tiny.  Keep your conditions right, which means bright light, high humidity, and lots of fresh air.  Don't forget to mist to make up for the evaporation from your cakes caused by the influx of fresh air.

i think its just puffy areas of mycellium growth. i had quite a few of those on the sides of 2-3 of my cakes, some about the size of a fingernail and sticking out about a centimeter or 2.

next day now, those bulbs are turning brownish red now @_@ no longer white, have small pins on the the bottom of the cake too.

Isn't mycellium all white? They are PES Hawaiians btw, on a brown rice tek

Ill post more pics later today
