I can handle fresh shrooms but my gf can't... Anyone know any recipes maybe a smoothie or something so she can enjoy them with me

i once heard someone drying them then adding whatever amount is desired to some chocolate pudding

dry them, powder them, then add to OJ or whatever you want really.

Or dry them, powder them and then put the powder into capsules. Easy to store like that and control the dosage.

okat 3 days ago i went to this new field...found 2 cubes thesize of cd's...ate them with peanut butter and jelly sammich...but all i got was a body tingle...i found a TON pans....some say they're not active...but these dont look like Pan Ants to me...and the print was JET black

....



but i only found these 2 small cubes...but its a start...i love finding new fields by accident

I posted this before but give it a try, she'll like 'em this way:

Get your blender out.  Add a tray of ice cubes.  Spin blender until ice is smooth and chunky.

Cut up mushrooms with scizzors into very small pieces (or coffee grind them - I don't have a coffee grinder).

Spread small pieces of shrooms out and add enough lemon juice to lightly cover them (lemon tek...lemon juice activates the active compounds in the mushrooms).  After a few minuted add them to the blender.

Add some Gatoraide to blender, add 1 banana, and a couple strawberries.  Add some ginger ale or moutain dew or juice.  Also toss in a few chewable vitamin C's.

Voila.  You can't even taste the shrooms.  The mixture tastes AWESOME, especially in this Florida heat. Next thing you know your having FUN!

I'm too lazy to look it up, but to the best of my knowledge the acid in the lemon juice will help the psilocybin (ans psilocyn) to dissolve. No chemical reaction takes place, hence, there is no 'activation' as such.

Your recipe will work perfectly, btw. It sounds good :thumbup: I always just use a 1000mg vitamin C tablet, dissolve in water, add ground mushrooms, let soak for a couple of minutes (stirr well), strain and drink. The taste is still there, but it's just the first sign of good times to come, now isn't it? :wink:

You are spot on. It doesn't have anything to do with activation. Lemon (or, as a matter of fact, anything highly acidic) will dramatically increase absorption rate of the active compounds and thus the come-up will be much quicker and overall more intense. But it also lasts about 1-2 hours less than when you consume psilocybian mushrooms without the aid of an acidic agent.

That makes total sense as my journey's with the recipe have all had a faster onset and slightly less duration.  Adding the banana and strawberry definitely help mask the taste of the mushrooms. 

It is for sure the first sign of good times to come!

There you go, the two of us learned something, and GK gets the compliments :thumbup: :wink: I hadn't heard (or remember) the onset being quicker and the duration being shorter with the acid-method, although it makes perfect sense and I should've realized it myself. It matches my experience perfectly, however.
