broken rib?

today i went cliff diving for the fist time in my life. haha, of course me being me. i front flipped and landed basically belly floppin the waters. it was a good 35-40 foot jump fer sure. it was fun as hell over all, i cant wait to do it again!

but ive never broken a bone before, surprisingly enough because i do alot of stupid shit like that. haha

but yea, my symptoms are, pain while a deep inhale, not bad, its just there and i can feel it. and my whole right side from my hip bone to like 3 ribs up. it is pretty swollen and it does hurt when i apply pressure. should i be worried?? im really not too worried about it. i just hope i didnt damage any organs, thats my main thing im worried about. other than that, i could care less, i have an extremely high tolerance to pain anyways. im thinkin, most likely, i just fractured it but who knows.

ok thanks. now u got me really worrying. wouldnt i be in way more pain than this though? i mean, i can pretty much move fine. it just feels weird because of the swelled area.  theres honestly not that much pain at all

may as well go get it checked out. even if it's not painful. that doesn't mean anything.

It could be fracture. I didn't know I broke my fibula until I checked with the hospital.


I could even walk around even though my ankle was swollen. And it didn't even hurt. I even laughed hysterically when it broke.

I broke my heel before, from too far of a fall.

It's that kind of pain that, uhh, has the laugh to it.
  I hate it!

There's not much you can do about a broken rib if it is broken, just gotta wait for it to heal.

If you did internal damage I'm pretty sure the pain would be pretty severe.  If you've got insurance go see the doc.

well yea, im not even worried about the bone at all. the bone could be shattered for all i care, i just want my organs to stay nice n dandy!  but yea, ill definatly get it checked tomorrow. thanks for the worries and help guys!
