Just something funny I wanted to share with you

Apparently someone I work with thinks they don't test donated blood for diseases when donated they just expect you to know. :lol:  I said that was restarted and it should be common sense that they do test it bitch got all pissed and said she knows for a fact it's true told me I shouldn't make statements without looking it up.  It actually makes me mad that they are people this clueless.  That's my rant.

when you get tested here for stds you have to actually specify what you might need to be tested for

i thought they tested for everything for an actual blood test for just that transmitted diseases but my doc had to specify about 6 main ones

I think he is talking about blood that is donated to the Red Cross.

I'm 100% sure that the blood is checked for diseases.
Kinda hard to give someone contaminated blood. :smirk:

im cynical when it can come down to human error in these types of situations

i know someone who refused transfusions after a surgery and reluctantly she had to stay in for an extra week to build up her blood count and two other people that did get the blood also got hiv

they usually give you plasma and if they run out of that,like if you dont stop bleeding,then you get the possibly risky donated blood cause living that day is better than dying so who gives a fuck if you get tainted blood and live another 20 years?

thats how it is here anyway
