Would anyone admit drugs has done psychological or mental damage to them (irreparable or not)?

I was wondering how many people here would admit to crossing the line, or going over it to the point of never fully regaining their mental or cognitive thinking process back. Not necessarily to the point of checking into the loony bin or frying your brain like A Scanner Darkly, but you can feel the cognitive change took over you (just a little)?

MDMA fucked me for awhile back when I was semi-abusing it (3-4 times a week sometimes) and gave me crazy mood swings.
But after I stopped using it I went back to normal.

yup, acid, mdma, dxm, weed, alcohol, opiates, they've all changed me in neutral/negative ways. not to say they don't have their positive roles as well!

coke made me lose everything, including my rent money so Im now at this modern day crackhouse and had to suck a few people off just so I could get a line and one of them happened to let me use his iphone for internet

My memory is shot to hell. Can't say specifically which drug did so, probably a combo of all of them. But it's really bad.

DXM gave me slight liver damage(this was like 4 years ago) and i swore it off ever since and its healed.

Acid gave me HPPD hasnt been so bad lately but i also havent tripped in like a month so that could have something to do with that

i am super paranoid, but i think other nondrug circumstances were a bigger factor.

I admit they have, but fortunately its not permanent. I think they have enhanced my cognitive ability allot also.

well it ejoy it bud. drugs HAVE a bad name. and i speak of legal ones cause alcohol has killed a lot of my intelligence and brain cells.

and don't even try to tell it doesn't cause it does. my wife told me it did cause they told her in one of her criminal justice classes.

i've done weed, coke, crack, pills, cacti, cigarettes, coffee and none have affetced me like alcohol. i;m drinkin right now and feel stupid.

um i agree with you alcohol does kill brain cells...see thats what i was saying be aware of dangers.  And as far as drugs having a bad name i personally thing weed is getting more and more widely accepted everyday.  I dont really drink and ive 'done' my fair share of cigs too so im not sure what your trying to get at there. oh never smoked crack either. but good story bro
