if people didn't wear clothes, maybe we'd start growing more hair all over our bodies. i mean.. not in your life time, but if everyone were to change, but evolutionary, and that would be nasty if women were covered in hair.

but i agree with you, i never understood why people are afraid to show themselves naked.. we're all humans aren't we? dogs have no problem going around sniffing other stranger dog balls, dicks, and assholes. the ego has evolved to be pretty shitty in a lot of beings.

There's always a nudist beach. I think it's lame how you can receive a large fine just for being naked, but that's just the way it is. Besides, what if you got a boner while sitting on a bus? Most people feel uncomfortable nude in public, so yeah.

People seem to be tackling this question as if the OP was suggesting that being nude become mandatory.

I think nudity should be accepted in public, but perhaps clothes should be mandatory in government buildings or courts of law at least...

I went naked hiking a couple weekends ago. I was somewhat concerned id run into someone. I wish it wasn't like that.

It is ultimately because people are insecure. I also think there is an old mentality of "sacredness" of the genitals, and that the only people that get to see each other naked are lovers.

I do not have a problem with morbidly obese or old people nude. Lets be mature here.

Whoever said: "if you want to be nude, move to a community where it is tolerated" is on the path - ill be naked at burning man, after achieving liberation from the overbearing feeling that i must wear clothes in public, at BM last year.
