substance free 24hour quiet dorm LOL

So I'm living on campus this year and today I found out I was put into a substance free 24hour quiet dorm.

anyone have any experience with this type of complete failure? you think they really enforce it?

i would always go 2 this one spot under the tree and blaze when i was dormin
i would throw parties there
eventually it got so big they shut that place down

living in dorms is like staying in a rehab facility  :lol: 

i've only visited friends that lived in them, but we still smoked out a room

I have. That just translates to "do what you want, but don't be an idiot about it and you'll be fine."

Do not try to smoke anything in those dorms though. That's the #1 way to get busted.

there are substance free dorms where they prohibit having drugs or being on drugs,
I don't really understand the substance free thing since illegal drugs are illegal regardless..
I guess they are even harsher about it and people over 21 can't drink?

then there are 24 hour quiet dorms where the noise level has to be kept very low

and there is one dorm with both restrictions


I was put into that one, my luck is outstandingly bad.
hopefully I'm not the only one who was assigned there that loves drugs,
you should have to request to be in these types of dorms

idk if thats what you were asking about, but yeah thats the situation haha

Unless it's mandatory for the first year or something?

Damn that seriously sucks, seriously. Seriously. But my friends knew someone who lived in the healthy living dorm thats  kinda like yours. He vaped all day. You might find some freaks in there, like preachers daughters and shit...

well the thing is, it makes it a lot easier to get to class when you're right on campus. and no it's not mandatory but really pretty much every freshman lives in the dorms because it's one less hassle to deal with (as opposed to paying rent, bills, etc)

the best dorm i visited was a run down piece of shit in hawaii where people smoked pot inside the halls and out on the front steps all day.

I lived in a substance free dorm. I smoked in it anyways. If you are going to smoke in your dorm I would recommend putting a box fan next to your window so the air can blow out.  We would rip waterfall bongs and blow the smoke into the fan. A little febreeze after that and we were good to go. Towards the end of the year we stopped giving a fuck and ripped bong loads in our room like it was no big deal, but that is a very stupid thing to do and I am very surprised we didn't get caught. I don't think our residential adviser really cared.
