i got home from work a little bit ago, just enjoying a few beers and a couple bowls.  i bought some real nice :potleaf: today, the guy called it white shark.  whatever it is, it sure does taste good in the vaporizer.

can anyhone recommend a musicians classified ad website(besides craigslist)?  my band is desperately trying to find a singer.  we tried craigslist but we only got back a few responses and they didnt come through.

we recorded a few tracks the other day, its really shitty quality.  but it is cool to be able to sit here and smoke a bowl listening to our songs. :vaped:

two nights ago me and my friend spent all night listening to our jams we've recorded in the past- and all i can say is- prepare to have your mind blown when we tour the world!

problem its only me and him- drummer and guitar- we need more, and im still trying to figure out if i like his drumming- he can be a bit too hyperactive sometimes :kingcrankey:  but energy isn't always a bad thing and we do rock out hard sometimes :potleaf:

hey everyone just got home from work a little while ago made my girlfriend a feast tonight.

Chips and Artichoke dip
Fried chicken sandwich with skinny fries
HUGE ass onion rings a philly cheese steak
Bread pudding with bourbon sauce
Chicken Cobb salad
Pecon Ball with hot fudge and a deep fried snickers bar...and that was just her meal

Its funny shes this little tiny girl with this moutain of food and lots of weed was smoked of course.:vaped:

had some drinks at a friend's house and had bad movie night. We watched Against the Dark with Steven Seagal, who was (according to the box description) a "kantana master". I didn't see a single kantana in the whole movie, but he did he a katana. It was just a really really bad infected/zombie apocalypse movie with the threat of the government just bombing the abandoned hospital they were running around in to contain the contamination.. you know, like every other zombie movie. Except this one just full on sucked.

I'm thinking of recording an ambient album over the next month.  just me and my acoustic or electric guitar  :zoom:

and it will all be live cause I don't know how to produce  :slider:

I need to start practicing.
I'd love to take lessons but I don't have the kind of access to the set that I'd need to keep an instructor happy. At least not a good instructor.

here's a 30 second random guitar clip I have on my computer. it is just random- but has a hint of my style in it.

i will def post a track when I make some recordings. i have no idea how this will pan out, but I want to get something together over the next few weeks  - :potleaf:

i'm looking forward to hearing everyone elses music too!  maybe we can make a shroomery music project at some point :mushroom2:

you dont need it. the nmber one thing about guitar is learing tolet go and just play, i think the best way to learn is to just mak noise. man when i was learning it didnt matter what i was playing or if i was playing well i just made fucking noise.

eventually you start seeing where you can play and it starts sounding like actual music!  Fuck taechers teach yourself.

i completely agree.  noise is a beautiful thing and if you can make it into a harminous rhythm- it can be an amazing thing

ok, here goes...

this is very very rough and a bad recording, but you can still get a feel for the song.  we screw up a few times, but like i said, its not perfect.  theres no vocals, so it gets a little repetitive but i think once we have words itll be great.

the song doesnt actually start until 1:15.  the first part is us just screwing around.

Well I play drums, but I know what you're saying translates to any instrument.

I don't know, I can sit at the set and play some basic rhythms but I can't fill for shit or get very complex.
I'm the kinda guy who can't really just sit down and teach myself either. I used to take trombone lessons and I got SO MUCH fucking better during that year than I ever had. If I am going to a teacher once a week and I have to be accountable for shit then I'll get it done. I just learn way more.
