Okay, so I was thoroughly disappointed when I could not get the original "tyler durden" name back when I joined in december 2007, I think it was. Anyway, I would much rather prefer the name "rainstorm", because that was my name at bluelight, and with me living in Seattle, it would be a good fit as a username. I'm tired of seeing my name with a "0" in the middle of it surrounded by underscores, since that's how I had to make my name to begin with in order for it to be accepted...
I have also been subject to many rating rapings from posting in The Pub/OTD. Very unfair ratings I've gotten at that, because all I was doing was speaking my mind and trying to bring up good points when it came to topics/issues, and I would get flamed or insulted just because of my viewpoints. I wasn't trying to press my views onto anybody, but it seems like if anyone doesn't agree with the people that have 5,000+ posts, then their rating gets a big fat cock in the butt.
My theory is that anyone who isn't comfortably high off their ass, will likely flame another member and subsequently destroy their rating. I know I've come off as an ass on this message board a few times when I was sober, but I made an effort to apologize to that particular member.
I really like this forum and I would just really like a name change to "rainstorm" if that is possible. I'll even sacrifice 400 posts for it as a surcharge if it's a hassle for you guys.
If not, then can I create a new account?
