The Watchmen was better than The Dark Knight

I could make a long argument on the topic but it's too late.  I'll keep it short.  Watchmen was more true to like in the fact that everything is grey area.  Batman's Dark Knight went for the black and white; good vs evil.  That's never the true case.

The Dark Knight was trash, it made no sense and was cheap. Since when did the Joker get to become invincible? they played off Ledgers death to make little girls ginnys tickle(like any responsible movie maker would). That stupid clown didn't have any gag, he was just gay and emo. 

Watchmen has a great story line and I loved the original comic.

watchmen had such a nice flow to it:


and technically it owned Batman since in the beginning credits they show Night Owl rescuing Bruce Waynes parents from being robbed and preventing The Batman from even existing.

I loved Watchmen for the ultimate dilemma and truest scenario and loved the Dark Knight for the escapism it provides that good will always surpass evil. Watchmen ftw.

Watchmen was good, but nowhere near as good as it could have been. TDK was much better for the fact that it appealed to all people, my friends who hadn't read Watchmen were way too confused. That's a shitty way to make a movie. And no squid? Fucking lame.

I liked dark knight better. I was always a marvel over dc.  So with that being said batman is more of a known character to me than watchmen. Everyone knows batman. 

The story behind watchmen is better, but I would still rather watch the dark knight.  Something about those corny ass outfits in movie throws you have from getting to deep into the movie.   



But then again I can't stand batman the way he talks, sounded like he had a mouth full of somthing everytime he did talk.

I didn't understand all of the hype about DN either. I just didn't think it was put together well. All of my friends love the movie and think it is the best movie ever. I think it was ok, but I would much rather watch Batman Begins.

I have yet to watch watchmen, but it seems so awesome. I will waiting for the blue-ray to come out. I don't see the reason in paying 10 bucks to go watch a movie in a theater that has shittier sound and picture than my home. A total waste of money.

Watchmen came out on DVD today.  They have an extended edition that adds on another 25 minutes to make it 3 hours long.  Ehh, I think it's just fine at 2 and an half hours long.

UC666 watchmen was fucking awesome. it wasn't a mindless action movie with superheroes just doing a WWF show with monsters. Watchment had a deep plot, fine characters with a life of their own and it explores the whole superhero genre, like the human side and all that philosophical stuff, its no comic book bs, its like real life movie with superhero sidelines.

i recommend it fully, it's destined to become a cult classic like apocalypse now.
