Batman Begins

#4300707 - 06/15/05 05:57 PM (21 years, 3 months ago)

Is this movie supposed to be any good? Is it a continuation of the older batman movies?

I haven't seen it, but it sounds like a total redefinition of the Batman character. It focuses more on Batman as a somewhat twisted, dark avenger, rather than on the colorful villans as the previous movies have done. It might be worth a look....

I could be wrong, but I've been lead to believe it's gonna be kinda like Frank Miller's Batman: Year One, where' he's just learning the ropes with the kind of flavor Toiletduk described.

I saw it and it was good, definately worth seeing before you see it everywhere in media and it gets spoiled.

well yeah, but you more know about it. The less you know about a movie before going to see it, the better IMO, ESPECIALLY this movie.

I know this Batman movie was directed by the same guy who made 'Memento' and 'Insomnia'. Those movies were dark and atmospheric.

Hopefully this one follows in suit.

Good deal.

I seen insomnia which was a very good movie. Al Pacino is definately getting a little old though. He seems to be losing his touch as an actor. The movie still kicked ass though.

I went to see this today and it kicks ass. The director is the director of Memento (See it if you havent already) and Batman is the guy from American Psycho (wicked). One bad thing is the girl is the chick from Dawsons Creek and I must admit I have a prejudice against her

Apart from that the movie was much more than I expected (I didnt go hoping a whole lot).

The movie has some twisted hallucinogenic parts that is awesome. Go see it.
