Older cakes work best, and older cakes can usually FLUSH SOME SHROOMS before being made into tea. Making substrate tea early sounds wasteful.

There's an extraction into cranberry juice tek somewhere, but if you have ever successfully fruited shrooms, it seems wasteful.

I have had substrate tea before.
We used a giant cranberry juice jug and placed about as many cakes as we could fit in there. The stuff was later strained.
I drank a cup and began to feel like I was starting to get kind of light like the beginnings of a trip. But, it never progressed past that point. I was dissappointed and vowed never to make substrate tea again.

i dont give a fuck what anyone says. i took just (1) full pint cake that i had flushed once and considered spent.

i sliced the cake into the the thinnest slices i could, kind of like slicing cheese off of a block.

next i chopped up those "slices" into the smalled peices i could i then added to 10ounces of water.

next i got the heat on the burner to just above medium for about 2 minutes then instantley turned it down to just under medium.

from there i continued to constantly stir the mix and try to squeeze the juices out of the larger chunks for about 20 mins.

I then removed from heat and let simmer for like 5-10 minutes.

ran the brew through an ordinary pasta strainer then ran that througha coffeee filter.

i also added some Motts instant apple cider to the tea.

once it was warm enough to get a good swig, thats exactly what i did.

shits goooodd.

 from me, if u dont ruin it.
