Substrate tea
    #4056080 - 04/14/05 08:41 PM (12 years, 11 months ago)

Here's my plan, I'd love any suggestions.

One 1/2 pint cake of Golden Teacher strain (which produced some rather potent Cubensis which bruised profusely blue, right before one's eyes)

I put two cups of water onto a stovetop and even the tempature as close to 90 degrees fahrenheit as possible. I then add either, or both Crushed vitamin c pills, or lemon juice (for acidity) to promote the psilocin,(psilocybin)to leave its former home in the cake and transfer its properties to the water. I was thinking of perhaps maintaining the water at about 90 degrees for about 3 hours to ensure the maximum transfer of alkaloids. Sound good? Any flaws? I have made tea out of a substrate before and the stove was left at 150+ for 30 mins, I still felt effects, albeit reduced.

Wow, I wouldn't expect anything to happen after drinking substrate tea. Seems like all you would get is a substrate mess.
Much luck to ya. :mushroom2:

It can work, but what an awfully disgusting mess.

To find a place to live between the negatives and positives.

ive done substrate before, and its decently powerful if your using a cake that has ended its flushes. i bet phosophoric acid would work better than lemon juice though... that or 1 drop HCL/gallon H20.
