Extraterrestrials - I now know that they exist.

Ghosts - Not sure but I did witness a Ouija board session which surprisingly worked. I believe in souls though.

Bigfoot - :smirk:    No.

Ghosts exist somewhere that cant be readily explored.  Also, they are consistent with most people's want to have an everlasting soul.  I bet those are part of the reason people believe in ghosts over bigfoot.

true, a belief in  ghosts is rewarding in many ways

a belief in bigfoot is just kinda... i dunno, i voted for "Not Sure" on that one, because to me it's POSSIBLE, not plausible

in the words of a 12-year old who drank ayahuasca: "I used to be scared of ghosts. Now I'm not, because I know now that they are around us all the time."

I chose "not sure", because while I have seen these spirits for myself, I can't say for sure whether they are technically "ghosts" in the popular sense, or some other form of being. These spirits can sometimes seem somewhere between "ghosts" and "aliens"

I chose yes for aliens because, like the above paragraph insinuates, I have seen them for myself. They are of a hyper-dimensional nature though. I do believe that there has to be physical life forms somewhere else in the universe, but I am not so sure about whether or not we ever encounter actual physical aliens here.

One thing's for sure though...you better not mess with Sasquatch. He'll fuck you up.

yeah yeah i've done aya and plenty of other stuff but nothing made me "BELIEVE IN" ghosts or anything else for that matter except the value and power of plants and animals and the amazing capacity for chemicals to illicit responses from a human brain.

if i went around here talkin' about Jesus is with us always and Jesus walks the earth and Jesus was in my house last night in the ouija board people would call me a religious nutso

so why is it any more acceptable to say the same things about "ghosts" and "spirits" and "djinns" etc. etc.? It's one more thing that you can't prove exists and I can't prove it doesn't exist.

Not trying to flame or nothin', just askin'.

But i think we can all agree that if Bigfoot IS real, he's gonna be pissed. I mean imagine if you were a semi-sentient ape sent into hiding(and extinction?) by another, smaller, really asshole-ish ape that didn't even have any hair on it's body!!:mad2:

lol good point.

I believe in ghosts because i have had lots of experiences which makes me believe they are true and so have other people that i know.

Statistically it is very likely that aliens exist.

I have my doubts about bigfoot because i think if they did exist they wouldn't have a large enough population to properly breed and perpetuate themselves.

you're right because i've never had anything happen to me that would even suggest ghosts exist, whereas you and the aforementioned ayahuasca-taking twelve-year old both have experiences to suggest such.

At least with bigfoot we KNOW that our idea of bigfoot was a real creature at one point in time and encountered humans (a hominid species) at some point.

A lot of prints have been found with deformities like missing or severely curved toes. Researchers think this could be due to inbreeding, because their numbers are probably very low. Who knows?

also, we need a bigfoot gremlin

hahaha that's pretty cool. Apparently its impossible to know if he was upright like humans and most people think that he probably wasn't and more likely moved liked chimps and gorillas. Still interesting though.

yes, i was referring to gigantopithecus (see my first post in this thread)

So that would explain why an ape-man mythos exists in most asian and native american societies... right?

And even if he didn't walk upright, his great height would exaggerate his posture to an ancient hominid most assuredly.

But about aliens... Aliens 100% (i think) exist somewhere. Whether or not they have visited earth, however, i view as highly unlikely.

What would be special about earth to them? I mean really? What would make them want to come here?

Agreed, if other beings were intelligent enough to get here, they would look at us like cattle or a virus. We are breaking legs to get to the top of the money pyramid and destroying the planet while we do it.
