Not to mention how mixed up the idea of "God" is in that excerpt. Aliens that wield the same technology we're coming up on would not be gods, they'd be life forms created from somewhere else (another higher form?). The 'theory' that he provides answers no real questions about the origin of the cosmos or a larger purpose, it just adds confusion and fantasy to the picture.

Fossils? Thats your argue. Show me some fossil research that shows the growth of one specie.

I don't know if you meant to reply to me, but I never mentioned fossils. So, I'm gonna let you do your own research.

The fossils were put here by the aliens to throw us off their tracks.

Wasn't my argument. However, do you really believe that every piece of life that is presently living on Earth was genetically engineered to fit their current environment?

So every single one of our evolutionary relatives actually hold no link to us and were each put here, in their respective time frames, by "genetic artist aliens?"

No I don't think every life form on earth was genetically engirneered. I think a lot evolved here. But then I think a lot were also introduced here.
But all and all I believe in creation for sure.

Genes show T. Rex related to chickens

Quote:
(April 13) - An adolescent female Tyrannosaurus rex died 68 million years ago, but its bones still contain intact soft tissue, including the oldest preserved proteins ever found, scientists say.

And a comparison of the protein’s chemical structure to a slew of other species showed an evolutionary link between T. rex and chickens, bolstering the idea that birds evolved from dinosaurs.

Well interesting, but if all of sudden the dinosaurs went extinct how could other species evolve from them? Yes proteins are the building blocks of carbon animals, and I am sure we have the same proteins in us. This doesn't exactly prove we evolved from dinosaurs, does it?
