I've been trying to go up to chicago around that time to hang out with my brother and his wife, so i'd like to go for at least a day if I can find some people going.
They have a lot of great bands playing!
Any shroomerites gonna be there?

I would bring my own.
You can get some there, but it will either involve asking randoms who are just sitting around smoking or buying off sketchy teenagers.

I've never done it since I don't smoke pot, but I have heard countless accounts of people doing it, particularly to hotels.
Perhaps make a post in the Pub? I can't really give you sound advice about doing it but I imagine it's as easy as wrapping your weed up a couple times, dropping it in an envelope or box, and mailing it to the hotel with your name on it.

i think you'd be better off finding some there, there'll be people out in the open blazing, just ask them if they have any extra. i don't expect it'll be hard at all, and it's a lot safer and less stressful than mailing anything.

I think it's safer to mail shit than to as random people.
If mailing doesn't work worse that happens is your shit is confiscated.

Lolla really isn't the kind of place to find drugs. If you want to do drugs there fine, but I wouldn't want to be looking for them in Grant Park.

what's the worst that could happen when you ask someone who's already blazing if they have any extra?  the way i see it, there's absolutely no risk involved.

if anything is caught in the mail, which is unlikely but very possible, there will always be a follow up investigation.

There's no follow up investigation, they just take the shit.

Asking randoms is rude in my opinion. Especially at a place like Lolla where most people won't be brining in more than necessary.
To me it really isn't the kind of fest where you should be looking to score drugs. I mean if you mail yourself some pot and for some freak reason it gets confiscated then sure ask some people you see smoking if they can spare a gram or a smoke out. I'd also bring my own pot because it's a good way to network. If you're by yourself and you find yourself standing next to two or three people who seem cool offer them a bowl.

Me and the two dudes I was with last year did something similar. They were smoking a bowl during Radiohead and this guy asked some question that we answered then they offered him their bowl. We had another dude to chill with for the rest of the weekend.

So it's not like you can't get weed there, but I would feel more comfortable having my own.

I have to disagree. Last year I was able to pretty easily find LSD and mushrooms. And I have seen Subs growing in the park! But I do know it's not Bonnaroo or Rothbury, but it is a big festival. People are bound to have something.
