I think I might be allergic to herb

When I was younger I used to smoke all the time, at the time I started developing what my doctors think is Eczema.... it got really bad in college when i was at the peak of smoking

That year my boyfriend of the time got caught with bud in the dorms so we both stopped smoking and my rash slowly disappeared (I thought it might have been due to changing soap or laundry detergent)

well old habits die hard and I started smoking a couple of months ago and in the last few weeks multiple times daily.... that same rash that I had before is back

could it be hives? lol I don't think my allergist would like it if I asked him to test me for thc....... what should I do?

Either your allergist won't care or he'll just agree with your assumption.

I might try and make it sound like I didn't smoke much but the rash appeared after I smoked at say a party or something.
I find doctors are usually reasonable.

Well that would suck.

I would say smoke for another month, if the rash doesn't go away still then i would stop smoking and see if it goes away after that.

I have eczema and psoriasis. Sucks alot.

You should totally start systematically trying every drug to test for allergies. For the good of science.

I've got a mental image of you in my head with a pile of drugs going through them like "hmmm...percosets...*gulp*...mmmmm...nope, not allergic to those...whats this? LSD?...OooOo pretty colors!...nope, not allergic to THAT..."

Friend of mine broke out in hives whenever he tried marijuana.  I can't imagine how much life would suck without the dankety dank.

Eczema is easily treated with a salve. :shrug:

Many times it is aggrevated because of heat.

Are there any other factors that might attribute to the problem other than smoking herb?

No chance that your herb is dipped in Mandrake extract is it?

there is no chance of that- and I don't break out in all out hives- i just have a small red rash on my arm... what freaks me out is that I haven't seen it in four years and suddenly its back when I pick up an old hobby
