Kava Kava - dosage?

Ok, so I recently bought some purple sticky brand kava powder and wanna use it. Problem is, the stuff comes in an essentially blank package, with no info on how much a person should take in a single serving. Could you guys help me out on this one?

do you know the % of kavalactones? that would help..
if not, I'd say around 1 gram

This is QFT= Quoted For Truth or you could just pour a little in a bowl and experiment from the ground up. Purple sticky probably has a decent amount of kavalactones but some people like to nod harder than others

my sweet spot is 5grams of 40% kavalactons(sp). i dont like the was the extract made my insides feel on the comedown. i know that there is no conclusive evadance that kava kava causes liver damage but im pretty sure i felt it with the extract.
when it comes to cave i think that method of ingestion is important too. i put the kave into alcohol (40%) stir and let sit for a half hour. then i slam it. it makes me go numb for a while then the alcohol hits and then the kava kave. its nice if you cant smoke pot. i def felt very very stoned every time ive done kava kava.

of course, the purple sticky website offers no more information than "THIS IS THE BEST STUFF! BUY IT!!" :rolleyes: , but I did notice that other online stores that sell it have "30% PE" in parentheses next to the name. Does that help in any way?

I tried some of it today. Probably didn't use enough, or it's just no good. mixed it in cold grape juice. Tasted bitter and nasty and made my mouth numb for a little bit, but that's about it :mad2:

Your not supposed to ask for dosage advice here on anything. It's to easy to get bad or the wrong information.

go to your health food store and buy the capsules of extract

it's all root only now but your liver can still hurt after like 4 times the normal dosage
