Why does anyone pitch to Albert Pujols?

Seriously. They used to walk Bonds until the cows came home, and his protection in the lineup was usually a lot better than what Albert has. Can anyone come up with a good reason to give this man anything to hit? Ever.

Nobody will hit at the level that Bonds was hitting at from 2001-2004 ever again. I guess they pitch to Pujols because Pujols isn't twice as dangerous as the next best hitter like Bonds was.

They don't pitch to Adrian either.  Then again, Adrian doesn't have Ludwick behind him.  They pitched to Bonds a lot more when he had Kemp behind him.

And nobody will ever be as geared as Barry was from 2001-2004 again either. :grin:

I think a large number of players from 2001-present were as geared as Barry, they just werent as good.

That's a very valid point. That's why Barry pisses me off so bad. I was a fan of his from his rookie year on, and he was a first ballot HOF'er without the gear. But he went and proved the haters right :kingcrankey:

My view on the hall of fame is if a player was talented enough to get in without cheating, but still cheated then he should be let in. I think that Bonds and A-Rod fall in that category. Guys like Rafael Palmeiro I would not let in because I believe his power was almost completely a product of steroid usage.

I dont think it takes anything away from him. If theres anything we have learned its that Baseball as an entire sport was/is tainted. To make Bonds the poster boy for it is naive.

Barry IS the poster boy due to the way he always carried himself (A-Fraud is in this category too) and the fact that he has "the" record. As in the most hallowed record in American sports. "The bigger they are....."

But he didn't need the crap. He could have gone 500/500 clean me thinks.

Don't worry, he won't have "The Record" in the end.  And I don't ever recall A-Rod having anything to say about roids until Selena "All Men Are Rapists" Roberts came along, but I could definitely be wrong about that.

By the way, did any of you guys know that Selena Roberts was taken to the hospital with a pair of nunchuks improperly installed.  True story.  Her mom told me.

Why?  Because he was good?  There have been whispers about AP too.  And Ortiz.  And Pengy's mom.  But I won't credit any of them without more info than anybody had on A-Rod before the whore co-opted the justice system for a buck.  Speaking of Selena Roberts and a buck.  She is widely known to get rolls of Susan B. Anthony dollars from collectors for the sole purpose of injecting silver isotopes in her rectum.  She thinks it has a magnetic effect on her dyke friends' tongue piercings and they lick harder.  Chemistry was definitely NOT her major.  It's true, her journalism professor told me (he's embarrassed too)

Yeah, I heard.  I also stand foresquare against outing anyone else.  And in favor of prosecuting Selena to reveal her sources who co-opted the justice system.  I wonder if she paid them as much as she pays the only woman with a Central Park Carriage license.  That fucking horse gets a workout.  I know because one of the other licensees was complaining about how the mistreatment makes them all look like pigs.

Zap, the WHOLE F-ING COUNTRY is run by people who co-opt the justice system. We got millions of people in prison for weed and murderers getting paroled. What justice are you talking about? I know you're not this naive.

It's like that one guys signature says, (to paraphrase) "In an open society the only crime is getting caught".

Shouldn't A-Rod be banned for a long time for cheating? Wouldn't that be justice?

Stop.  Just fucking stop.  It is beyond stupid to question all laws because we incarcerate pot heads, which is what you are doing.  I already said I would prefer that all drugs be legal.  I do not think that contracts should be voidable and that grand jury secrecy be violable.  Ever.  The people who outed A-Rod broke the law.  I want them prosecuted.  The sanctity of contracts is far more important than prohibition, which has never stopped anyone I know.

What is justice for A-Rod cheating? That's my problem with your argument. You sound like a scuzzy defense attorney who gets his client off on a technicality. I agree that justice should be served, to all parties involved. And while we're at it, don't we as a consuming public have a right to know ALL the names on that list? We've been duped. Why do the CHEATERS have "rights"??????

And I was not questioning all laws. I was illustrating that the justice that you seek  is from a system that is in itself corrupt. Sorry if that wasn't clear. how an you argue with that? Can a bad tree bear good fruit?
