finished watching season two just now. i was disappointed during the first half of season one, it didn't look like anything in the terminator movies and the director supposedly said that the series doesn't have a timeline related to the movies, thus taking place in parallel universe or something like that.

anyway i forced myself to watch it and then started liking it, now i'm kind of bummed out they canceled season three. i liked the way the series didn't focus on gunplay and cgi but on human relations and the cyborg angle, how they developed and grew.

anyone else give a crap about the series :stoned:?

Yea, I watched it.  Certainly better than most crap on TV, its a shame they canceled it.

i watched the first few episodes and hated it so much...never even cared to see anymore.

i fuckin love terminator..and i even liked the new terminator salvation quite a bit...but the sarah connor chronicles is a pathetic waste of a tv show..

at first it sucked... there are periodically people traveling back through time, as are terminators. plus the one sent back to protect john connor is some young hot girl... still it starts to grow on you after you watch it, at least it did on me. it's not a gap filler between T4 and T5 but an alternative story line as it involves time travel. in T3 sarah connor dies of cancer, here a terminator has been sent to protect john and they jump forward in time so sarah's life goes on a different route etc.

i think they made a strange choice casting that slim british chick as sarah connor but she acts alright, shows emotions and isn't the wooden actor as hamilton was. john is also well portrayed, evolving emotionally over time. the terminator cameron is... well like a machine. over time she has system conflicts and begins to evolve...

there are also hints about machine/human alliances in the future and a renegade cyborg faction fighting skynet.

i think it's one hell of a scifi show that you'll either love or hate.

it takes a while to get going, by time you get to the finale of season 2, you really hate to see it go, and for me especially since all my other favorite shows have died off too.  the only shows i got left are dextor, californication, and weeds....tv has died wtf
