1. don't deal with idiots. ever. don't deal with people you don't know, ever.
2. only sell to people who don't look like druggies. no junkies/niggers/whatever. lots of doctors and lawyers like coke, and they look alot better. or at least clean cut white people who arent stumbling drunk, leaving people in the car, bringing unknowns around. try to keep people on hand for a little while, offer them up a beer or whatever so they arent just running in and out. if you look like you're doing some ghetto niggery all night drug biz people will get suspicious.
4. try to operate in the middle of the day, don't have people running in and out of your place all the time, especially late at night. it helps if your neighbors know and like you.
5. always deal fair. don't do the shit. don't underweigh or overcharge. if you do it you need to learn not to be compulsive. a good coke dealer can do some coke, but never does up all his profit. no where near it. that is just dumb and not worth the risk.

not that i would know.
as far as getting busted, yes, you will get in trouble.
