Frozen Indian dinners

The corner store a half a black away is owned and operated by Indians, and they stock some Indian foods. Naan (which I've bought many times), a few other odds and ends, and frozen Indian dishes.

I finally picked up one of the frozen dinners. I've been meaning to for a long time, so I asked the dude working what he recommended. He asked if I like chicken, which I fucking do, so he sent me on my way with the chicken curry one. Man, this shit is fucking delicious.

Grabbed some tortilla chips out of the kitchen to dip into the rest of the curry, and man that shit is real goo.
I can feel the heartburn already though. Time to get some Tums.

I love Indian food to the end of time!! :drooling: Can't imagine eating anything frozen though, but glad to hear it's good.

As far as it making you crap, I have a very healthy diet and it doesn't mess with me at all. A few of my SAD eating friends have issues with it. Maybe it cleans you out a bit?? :shrug:

Just throw a flour tortilla over the stove if it's gas and let it burn a bit and you have (sorta) homemade naan to dip.

Indian food is awesome. Try a Dhansak dish if possible, it is slightly sweet and oh so good. Also an onion bhaji or vegetable samosa appetizer is exceptional. Check out if they have an Indian restaurant in your area. If you like it frozen you will love it freshly made, and it is usually an inexpensive dining experience. Indian restaurants also do a lot of take out.

Yeah there's an Indian joint on the other side of campus. They do take out and buffet lunches and shit.

I had Indian from a restaurant once this past winter in North Jersey in some Indian town. It was weird, typical north Jersey then all the sudden we were just in a town that was pretty much completely Indian. Anyway I wasn't very impressed with the food. It was pretty bland and not spicy (we asked for spicy.)

I'll have to go to the place on campus though, me and friends always want to go for lunch but our schedules don't match up.

In Boulder, every other restaurant is Sushi, Indian or Thai it seems. I think that says something. :shrug:

Well, there are a couple of great Mexican places too, but BBQ isn't very big out here from what I can gather.
