seems like you could just add additional tubes to your fogger res, to maintain many monos

As soon as I can afford it, I'm gonna order these 2 sensors in order to help me get my setup just right.

CO200: Desktop Indoor Air Quality CO2 Monitor
Measures Carbon Dioxide (C02), Air Temperature and Humidity
Features:

    * Checks for Carbon Dioxide (CO2) concentrations with Max/Min value recall function
    * Maintenance free NDIR (non-dispersive infrared) CO2 sensor
    * Indoor Air Quality displayed in ppm with Good (380 to 420ppm), Normal (<1000ppm), Poor (>1000ppm) indication
    * Visible and Audible CO2 warning alarm with relay output for ventilation control
    * Measurement ranges:
          o CO2: 0 to 9,999ppm
          o Temperature: -4 to 140°F (-10 to 60°C)
          o Humidity: 0.1 to 99.9%RH

And:

Big Digit Indoor/Outdoor Hygro-Thermometer

Simultaneous display of Temperature/Humidity

    * Max/Min with "reset" function
    * Humidity: 10 to 99% RH
    * Temperature: 14 to 140°F or -10 to 60°C
    * Accuracy: ±5%RH; ±1.8°F, ±1°C

Has a probe on a 38" lead that measures temp and RH.

This way I can take all the guesswork out of fine tuning my setup.  Provide optimal Co2 and RH levels.

so you are gonna get those for each mono? room?(if for the room i dont see how the co2 reader would work for the tubs) or are you moving to a fc set-up?

Well, you'd run the output to an octopus-box (1 tube runs into a box then split off into more tubes).

I'm gonna test run this baby on 5 monotubs.

After doing some math, it looks like I'll need a dimmer-dial to control the air flow, 100 cfm is way too much for 5 monotubs.

The main reason you need fresh air exchange is to keep the Co2 levels low.  Try breathing into a plastic bag for a couple minutes, watch what happens when the c02 levels build up in it.  Mushrooms don't like them either.

In order for me to REALLY know if it's working right, I need to know the c02 levels.

And $250 for a co2 monitor is cheap.

The next ones up are more like $700.

cool man, i was gonna try something like that too, like a duct system between mono's, but thought the possibility for total catastrophe is too high, but independently ducting them to a Central command station would be really cool. hope it goes well, if you think about it make a grow log i'd like to follow it.

i'm pretty surprised RR has said the result yet, i figure that guys tried everything

please dont hijack other peoples threads.

to get back on topic, i very much doubt that your RH is dropping to 70% with perlite in your tub.
