What do you all think of Gyromitra gigas (Snow Morels)
    #10432905 -

So I went on my very first mushroom hike today up by Rutgers and came across what I believe is a Gyromitra gigas. It looked like a big brain growing besides a tree. My question here is what do you all think of this mushroom? I read up mixed reports on this guy and its edibility. Some say its ok to eat when prepared. Some say its toxic and contain Hydrazine in amounts that would not account it to be edible.

Has anyone tried it? If so how was it prepared and how'd it taste?
