what happened to the manager is the result of him becoming a manager. if he wouldn't have become a manager he wouldn't have that event happen to him.

that sounds like karma

what happened to him is a result of being a criminal in the
position of a manager, lots of people become managers without
ever being arrested, some even become district and regional
managers

lots of peoples crimes against law aren't ever discovered too, but that is the law of man.

karma isn't about making a managers life shitty because you were butthurt about him.

by the theoretical laws of karma muppet received bad karma for rejoicing over the suffering of another person.

karma or karman (k?mə, k?mən) , [Skt.,=action, work, or ritual], basic concept common to Hinduism, Buddhism, and Jainism. The doctrine of karma states that one's state in this life is a result of actions (both physical and mental) in past incarnations, and action in this life can determine one's destiny in future incarnations. Karma is a natural, impersonal law of moral cause and effect and has no connection with the idea of a supreme power that decrees punishment or forgiveness of sins. Karmic law is universally applicable, and only those who have attained liberation from rebirth, called mukti (or moksha) or nirvana, can transcend it. Karma yoga (see yoga), the spiritual discipline of detachment from the results of action, is a famous teaching of the Bhagavad-Gita.

oh, don't give me that according to hoyal crap...if the term don't fit for standard definitions - then make up a new term for everything that the word 'karma' has come to be associated with through many many years of cultural mis-interpretations

well, I suppose it's only right that karmic retribution be dealt
preemptively to those that havent done anything to warrant being
raped or killed simply because the jainists knew they would later

then don't kindly downplay a philosophical/religious term to justify your own joy over someone's misery.

just say something like "that manager finally got fucked like i felt i was fucked, now i feel at peace with the universe".

perhaps you don't know how languages work then (or anything else for that matter)

people have this tendency to steal shit from other cultures an make it their own...remember that whole shit with the nazis and the swaztica - yeah...my point exactly

the term karma *may* very well have started out to mean something completely different then what it means now (it probably still does in certsain cultures, I'm sure) but here in the U S of A / in this day and age - it's taken on a whole new meaning

I don't care about the origins of the term, or what it's *supposed to* represent...I use it how it's commonly used in my world

so you'll have to excuse me if I don't bend over backwards for ya on this one

you mean distort meanings to fit into their own uncreative ideas as justification for being a dumb shit? you've proved it well, my young padawan

yeah, its gotten dumbed down, people throw it around and when told what it really means they get all antsy in their pantsy because they want to live in a lie.

of course you care, if you don't care then you wouldn't have picked that exact term to signify your managers case. you care so much you even bother to be bothered. and your world just collided with mine.

Why isn't this a case of karma in action.
His negative actions on the world resulted in a negative affect to his world.

That's not what he said at all.
He just got a lol out of him getting busted.

Nothing wrong with that.
