gawd I LOVE karma
    #10406769 -

so I was talking to an old collegue of mine the other day, right...and he was telling me that our old manager (the one we both dispised) not only got fired, but also that it was because of some wild shit that cause corporate to swoop in with the swat team and haul him off straight out

and I don't know what the man did with that one, but I can pretty much guarantee you that he deserved it  :hehehe:

More useless usage of SWAT teams.    What a waste of money.

And technically revenge isn't what muppet is happy about. He didn't 'get revenge' on anyone. He is just enjoying watching karma kick someone in the balls for being an ass.

that's the goods.  always liked it when bad things happen to fuckers.
especially old bosses.  they don't even seem human anyway.

prob because i only saw them in the work place.  this drone character.
hard to apply human characteristics to that type of person.
kinda like imagining your kindergarten teacher having sex.  it's difficult.

karma would be someone screwing muppet's corpes

this seems to me as though it's an arrest for criminal activity, we call it justice

no.

people in the west seem to have this weird idea about karma being personified or actually giving two fucks about their own ego. karma properly is just physics (where we understand consciousness as energy like everything else, capable of acting and reacting upon the world)

i especially like how westeners who don't like to believe in god still need a substitute feeling for justice and choose karma to act as a vengeful god.

Right. Isn't what happened to the manager a result of karma though?

Muppet's getting pleasure from it is reminiscent of revenge. But really isn't because muppet didn't actually make it happen. He just  when karma kicked in.

no, it probably has more to do with an internal company
investigation being turned over to the police, not much karma in
that since it's not some mysterious force biting him in the ass,
it's simply law enforcement doing their job

what happened to the manager is the result of him becoming a manager. if he wouldn't have become a manager he wouldn't have that event happen to him.

karma isn't a mythical being living in space who punishes people like another human would.

egg-zactly  :yesnod:

karma = let people get what's coming to em (natural like)
revenge = making damn well sure that those things happen

I did nothing to instigate this...ergo...karma  :craven:

not so.

karma or karman (kär'mə, kär'mən) , [Skt.,=action, work, or ritual], basic concept common to Hinduism, Buddhism, and Jainism. The doctrine of karma states that one's state in this life is a result of actions (both physical and mental) in past incarnations, and action in this life can determine one's destiny in future incarnations. Karma is a natural, impersonal law of moral cause and effect and has no connection with the idea of a supreme power that decrees punishment or forgiveness of sins. Karmic law is universally applicable, and only those who have attained liberation from rebirth, called mukti (or moksha) or nirvana, can transcend it. Karma yoga (see yoga), the spiritual discipline of detachment from the results of action, is a famous teaching of the Bhagavad-Gita.

there's probably a lot of truth in this statement as well...but the point I was making is that 'he got what was comming to him' (hence my use of the term)

and I could care less who/what was behind it - I'm just glad to see that justice has been served

that sounds like karma

what happened to him is a result of being a criminal in the
position of a manager, lots of people become managers without
ever being arrested, some even become district and regional
managers
