You're just mad because you're not doing what I'm doing. That's all.

Jealousy is an ugly emotion. I used to be jealous, but then I got unemployed.

I have had many chances to lower my standards and choose the easy way out ,my weekly unemployement would have been higher than your monthly draw ,but I chose a different path.......I guess thats why I get 20 or 30 people calling me for work and have them leave a number and let me know if I ever need a job just call them.....hell I have had people give me thier card just during my normal work day and tell me to call them if this job I am currently working does not satisfy me,they have a spot for guy like me,call them anytime.

I have no problem with what you personally are doing ,thats your choice,I am just pointing out how it looks to employers and my feelings about said choices and how those choices may affect you in ways you dont know.

Keep rockin,if you can hold your head up and live with that choice more power to ya,just understand is not a secret and you will be affected by those choices.

I've worked enough to deserve this in my opinion. I am reaping what I've sewn. Its too bad that you can't smile and have a good time with me because that's what I'm doing.

You sure are a fucker. I would never work for a asshole like you.

Usually the hardest workers are the lowest payed ones. All you asshats sitting in offices lording over overworked people who actually work for a living make me sick. I work my ass off at any job i have ever had. The last job i had where i took as much unemployment as possible fucked around with all of the employees pay, gave us all 3X the amount of work that we were supposed to have, made shit loads of money off our hard labor, then dumped all 500 of us as soon as they were done with us after 7 years being invested in the company. They all got HUGE bonuses when they shut down, but not for one second did they kick back any to the people who made it all happen. OH we got a million praises and thank yous, but did they even bother to give us a heads up that we were loosing our jobs until the last second 2 FUCKING WEEKS AFTER CHRISTMAS????? Fuck no they didn't.

I milked that unemployment until the tit was dry. Go back to your chair and act like you are working.

Your the one who stayed there for 5 years and you point the finger at me......:rofl2:

I think it might have been your fault and I do work for living, very hard ,I also do other things at the same time to make myself more valuable.I have never sat at a desk in my life and probably never will,I have walked away from jobs paying tons of cash, because I did not agree with how the employees were treated and chose not to be a part of that.

I am sorry you worked a lame job and then put your self on the same level as those who you hate by milking it for all it was worth.
If they dont appreciate your hard work and dont give you raises ,why in the world do you people stay there?

You guys talk so bad about the employer yet sit there and do the very same thing to the system that was done to you.......there is a name for that and a certian type of person that does that.

Dont blame me,I am just pointing out the facts,I am not the one taking advantage of the system.

Like I said ,when I see milked unemployement untill it ran out when they apply for a job,it goes in the trash.

It`s funny the people I have worked WITH and those who were fellow employees thought I was the best person they had ever worked for....so like I said if you feel like you are doing the right thing, more power to ya,but dont think it will not be seen and have effects.

No big deal to me ,I am just talking and pointing things out that you might be aware of.

It sounds like you chose the path of stupidity. Seriously, most people who are eligible for unemployment will take it up at least until they find another job.

When I look for a job ,I usually end up with 20 or 30 places calling and find the one I like and have no problem letting the others know I am in demand and have other oppertunities ,I am not desperate worker that will take whatever they offer,I make my value known up front and end up taking about half of those off the list before even going there in person.

What field do you work in? Have you tried to look for a job any time in the recent past? Do you realize what the job market is like right now? I think you're living in some kind of fantasy world if you think just because you are a hard worker you are going to be offered 20-30 different positions in one go around of applications. Some people live in areas where there are barely 20-30 job openings a month, that includes EVERY job field. Let alone 20-30 job openings in ONE field. I really want to know what kind of career field you work in where you can get 20-30 job offers to pick from at once.

There is nothing wrong with taking some unemployment for awhile. That's why it exists. Anyway, most people realize after a short time on unemployment that its just easier to go out and find another job than it is to try and subsist on less than half of your former wages.

All I can tell you is that there is a reason good things goto shit, thats becaue people tell everyone and thier brother about it and all the goons ruin it for everyone else.

Applications are for people who want to job hunt ,not goto work.

I have never filled out a job app ,untill after I was already hired.

Being a hard worker is 2/10ths of the picture, there is alot more to it than that for the total package.

The best advice I can give you is there is alway that one guy who is on his way out,you have to be the factor that makes that happen, people are always looking for that right person, you just have to be that person.

I got on it young and moved from job to job and field to field untill I found what I wanted, that gave me a heads up on alot of people and gave me a broad choice of available jobs and a huge exsperiance factor in job hunting,I know and understand things the average worker/job hunter does not.

You half to have the right mindset to make things happen and be willing to go above and beyond without concern for what you might gain,if they dont appreciate it ,go somewhere else,I have held close to 200 different positions in my short career and that gave me some exsperiance in things that payed off more than I could have imagined.

If I did not live in cali ,which is a main reason why I am moving,I would have a massive business going right now ,but the lame workers out here that think someone  owes them the world has made me decide not to do that here...plain and simply put the average worker has a shit attitude and will not do anything above and beyond here.....thats one of the factors that has made it soo easy to get a job in cali is the shitty worker pool to choose from.

I cant count the times I have heard ,they dont pay me to do that, thats not my job ,etc..all the cop out excuses to keep a person from rising above and becoming a valuable employee and helping the company they work for. When I hear thats not my job ,they dont pay me enuff for that ,I see that as a oppertunity to maximize my worth, because that means whatever they are saying that about needs a person to do that very thing,so I become that person and watch all the complainers go down the road and get fired or mad and quit because they failed to move forward and excell in those positions or create worth for themselves in that job.

Call it a fantasy if you wish and you will be like my friends that freak out and say god dammed son ,thats another one calling to hire you as we blaze joints and laugh at the answering maching voices trying to make thier job seem better than the rest that left a message.
You have a choice ,you can be the one that jobs happen to or be the one who makes jobs happen....it`s the same with life,to some people life happens and to others they make happen what they want to happen.......
Those who make things happen are usually more than happy to share thier exsperiances with others, but most others will not listen.

This is partially the point.

Right now, with this economy there are millions of people struggling to find work, and who would give anything for the chance to work.  People are losing their houses cars etc. and desperate for work.

This is a serious problem and tough environment.  It tends to rub people the wrong way when others are gloating and flaunting their lack of ambition.

Lover of rules.....If you only knew.......:rofl2:

Some people have privledges others TAKE liberties.

Your right ,I am looking for a reaction, but it`s not what you think, the reaction is the hope that you will listen to those who have done and know and will use that information to make your life a better one.But as usuall you take it as a attack on your lifestyle and choose to ignore it,but thats par for the course and most people are happy with par.

Dont worry, one thing for certain is your not alone.

Call me all the names you want ,but I am not the one barely getting by on unemployement because he cant deal with a simple job.Have fun being the victim ,instead of the victor.

There is a reason the old codgers say they wish they would have known then ,what they know now............figure that one out and you will be one up on alot of people.

Like I stated before, there is nothing illegal or wrong with what you are doing ,millions do it and are happy ,but there are other options.
Like a very wise man said....It`s always just the way you like it.

Just because people do not agree with you all the time ,does not make them asshats.........you would be surprised if you actually met me ,I let people be who they are and only offer advice when it`s asked for ,but this is a online forum where hundred if not thousands could possibly read this and beifit from it ,so I take the time on my own free will ,free of charge with no compensation and will never recieve anything you would probably consider valuable from it.......If I cared about ratings or being liked ,I would tell you great job milking the unemployement ,have fun ,buy some weed and blow that cash on anything you want.
But thats not going to get you anywhere in life and what seems like fun now is only holding you back.
