It'll probably be at least 30-40 a month after the intro period, possibly more. 

You should have just gone with cable, satellite sucks, for those exact reasons you mentioned, and the fact the signals get all fucked up when there is bad weather or dense cloud cover.

$9.99 a month? What do you get with that? I'm guessing nothing much?

I switched to Digital cable a little less then a year ago and fuck that I'm never going back to anything else. You should get a HD DVR if you got a high def TV. I don't know if you wanna record anything on TV ?

Don't get satellite, Cable is so much better. I have 754 channels with my cable, works like a satellite minus the satellite.

You chose you're packages so the rates depends on which packages you chose. I highly suggest you go to one of the dish companies and cable companies stores/outlets and ask all the information there. It's the best way imo.

Edit: My monthly bill is 237$ for 754 channels, phone line and internet. Phone is like 20$ a month or 25$ a month, Internet is 80$ and the rest is the cable bill, but it's totally worth it :tongue:

I go with cable for the high-speed internet, I have basic ch's (local only), cuz the internet is the best video-on-demand service.  Costs me a shade above $60 a month.
