I wouldn't recommend moving there during the recession. Maybe it's just me but the pics coming out of Cali lately haven't been so pretty.

I live here in So Cal in the shitty HIGH Desert. And basically its overpopulated. A lot of people have shitty ass attitudes. But i do know quite a few people with med cards that don't even need them.

I met some people from Cali this past week, had a software class with them. They kept telling me how nice us East coasters were, how green it was, how much cheaper things were here and how hard it is to get anywhere in Cali because of traffic.


I'll keep my East coast. West coast for visits :grin:

I live in Southern California.

If you want to move here, try to shoot for Orange County. (Newport Beach, Laguna Beach, Costa Mesa, Huntington, etc.)

It is expensive but it is a great place to live.

Most people are really chill and down to earth but there are definitely some snobby rich bastards.

You can also go down to San Diego or up to Santa Monica. Cheaper living but a little dirtier and more dangerous than Orange County.

As for Northern California, I would recommend Santa Barbara (if you are looking for a college party scene) or San Francisco. San Francisco if you are really into psychedelics, as I hear they flow like water up there. There's always good old Tahoe which has really good mountains to go to in the winter.

I would recommend Southern California because Nor Cal is quiet colder and more similar to, oh I don't know, Oregon? Although anywhere you choose in California will be a good choice.

Get your medical license. Most clinics are in LA.

I live in central cal right now and I like it a lot. I grew up in southern california and my favorite part about that was the beaches and the warm pacific ocean in the summertime :thumbup:

I don't think I'll live in the city though, probably out more in the rural area, but still about an hour from the city.
