How about the timing? at the exact time of the prayer the phone rang....
I have had numerous "coincidences" like this in my life, you can write it off, but I know their is no such thing as luck.

This is completely different, you KNOW before hand that you can very well cross the street.

Millions of people pray, many people are HEALED everyday because of prayer. Their are countless examples of people who the doctors told would die and have miraculously came through. Leaving the doctors with no reasoning as to why they have become healed.

Fasting and praying - works.

If you haven't tried it, you cannot judge.


You can only have so many things happen to you until you open your eyes and admit that their is more than what you just see.

My mind cannot move matter. Unless I get up and physically move it myself....This is my hard facts for my own sanity. Not to make anyone else believe but myself. I am not asking anyone to believe in anything, I am simply stating why I believe.

As for the mental part,my subconscious could not have created this. I was told many things, that I did not know. No matter how deep in my subconscious, I was told things that I later learned in life, some things I never understood until years later.

Yep, spot on.


It gets old watching atheists (by which I mean people with a belief that their is no god) claim that their is no god and that this fact is logically demonstrable when it is so plainly not.  Invariably it is either a result of them finding the biblical god irreconcilable with reality and therefore presuming, illogically, that this is evidence against any god, or the inability to distinguish between a belief that something doesn't exist and simply not believing in that something.


You can't logically deduce god does not exist, its impossible.  God existing or not existing produces no observable phenomena per se and so the question can never be approached- it is utterly unscientific and impossible to claim logically that he does or does not exist.

Believe what you want, but you can't logically believe god does not exist- it is every much a faith as believing he does since neither necessarily produces any phenomena that is in any way observable.

Awesome.  This is an astounding coincidence.

But, I see no logical reason to justify belief in a divine creator because of this circumstance.

Who then created the creator?

It's not a confidence, it's the result of two connected elliptical orbits.

The distance of the the moon from the earth is not always the same, just as the distance of the earth from the sun is not always the same.



Sometimes the moon completely covers the sun during an eclipse, and sometimes it only covers it partially, leaving the impression of a fiery ring around it.

I see what you mean.

The OP seems to place a lot of stock into the fact that, to the naked eye, the moon does appear to be relatively the same size as the sun during a solar eclispe, due to our pespective of the two celestial bodies from earth.

I guess that no matter what part of the elipse the earth's and moon's orbits fall on during a solar eclipse, the same result occurs in that the sun and the moon appear relatively the same size from the earth.

Does that seem correct?

No, they only appear to be the same size every so often, and even then only from certain parts of the world.
