photoshop help

Im trying to make a .gif animation from two images. I have all of the frames set up, but when I upload it, it doesn't work.

What am I doing wrong here?

Looks like you don't have the appropriate delay times (in the animation box)

Try, I dunno, 0.1 seconds.

Plus maybe photobucket is just killing all but your first frame (or layer rather).

Does it work in you pictures folder when you open it in w/e picture viewer? (try opening it in your browser if you don't have a picture viewer)

Go to "File" click "save for web and devises" and box should open up with your image then on the top right corner hit "save" and there you go should be saved as Giff, should be able to upload it now. If your going to save it this way your photo is going to look "OK".

But if you want your picture to look amazing..
(If you have it) you can find your pictures image ready, from there go to "File" Down to "Export" you will be able to Export it as a Macro midia flash document, just keep all the default settings and hit "OK" creates a h2ml page, it will create the Swift file for you and now you can upload it and it will look alot smoother.

.gif doesn't support partial transparency.  If you save a animation with partial transparency as a .gif anything that's not completely opaque will be save as solid black.

I believe .png supports partial transparency, try saving it as that....but I'm not sure if .png can be animated.

CS3 doesn't have support for .png as far as I know. I tried to do that yesterday.

Yeah, png doesn't support animation (click), but if you feel like getting really technical with it you could try apng or whatever.

I'm trying to save is as a .gif, but it's not working. I can't think of anything I'm doing wrong here.:strokebeard:
