steven hawking made sad but apparently he's fine :)

when I heard tonight that mr. hawking is in the hospital I actually teared up and cried a few tears.  I worshiped this man and I'm sure someone on here has read a brief history of time or the universe in a nutshell.

Here's to you Mr. Hawking and I really hope that last sentence in a brief history of time is true.

I feel really sad for him too because I've always rooted for him. His condition and demeanor is a lot like my late brother's too, so that doesn't help.

no i felt like a bitch for being upset over someone I've never met.  I'm glad to see that article thanks. I saw on the news he was "comfortable" and upon looking into it didnt come up with an article like that.

yeah, that and the elegant universe are two of the best physics books written for the layman every written.

the kind of thing to get people interested.

i have a lot of respect for hawking, even though he's kinda lost it. he was probably the first person to make me care about physics.
