so, this monday i'm going to go see sufjan stevens play at calvin college. my friend's brother, who i'm going with, claims to know sufjan, so hopefully we'll get to see him after the show. should be great either way, though!

A few friends of mine are going to see him either this weekend or next week as well.

The only thing I've heard about him is that he sounds like The Polyphonic Spree sort of.

i'm a huge fan of his.. i wouldn't really say he sounds like the polyphonic spree... well, he has some spacy vocal harmonies, but that is about the only similarity. i'd highly recommend Michigan: Greetings from the Great Lakes State, Come on feel the illinoise!!!, and Seven Swans
