Felix the Cat -- Feline Follies, 1919

woah, woah, woah.

a cartoon from 1919 depcits a cat, Master Tom (later felix the cat) as knocking up another cat. While tom is away the mice destroy the house. To which tom gets blamed and thrown out of the house. he goes to live with his new mistress cat and when he goes to tell her what has happened he finds a litter of mister toms and goes to the gas works. The cartoon ends with him huffing gas and killing himself

I had 100 of those(pic in your sig.DFW,Texas) in the early 90's,damn good paper too,I miss that,150 a sheet.:tongue:

yes, i'd miss that too.

btw, the pic is not my sig, i just threw it at the end for I thought if someone realized that the felix they have seen on blotters/blotter art was real and related to this post they may be interested. A lot the younger ones here arent familiar as he hasn't been on TV in years. My uncle has a tattoo of him on his ankle. As he tells the story he went out drinking one night with buddys when he was stationed in germany in the 1970s and woke up the next morning with this tattoo.
