I'm thinking, the 80$ investment for toy night vision might be worth it, as everything else is like...

I gotta admit, those are fucking bad ass. You'd be the ultimate shroom hunter with those. You could clean out every field and see someone coming from miles. But, 50 ft seems ample if you're just using it to scan the patties - since my night vision is terrible. What do you all think. Any you all do it?

Well, 50ft vision isn't much compared to how much you'd get on a military edition one. I mean, I couldn't see a shroom right in front of me at night. If that helps me to see it, then it's done more than enough to help.

We get about a half dozen threads a year about using night vision goggles to hunt.  Some people have probably tried it but I don't know of anyone that actually brings them along when they go out.  Let us know how it works, looks like a cool toy for $80 anyway and if it doesn't help you can always save it for some kids birthday.

Yeah night vision sounds good! It would help me to be able to see cows charging at me. An have time to get out of there. I found found that lighting a lighter will scare the cows.

Let me know how it goes. I might end up getting me a pair!
