We just got Comcast's Triple Play yesterday.. (I'm such an asshole)

My Dad decided to switch to Comcast because it's cheaper than the Verizon we had.  I was home and my brother was sleeping upstairs at the time, and my Dad was at work, so I just kind of stayed around in case the installers needed anything.  Eventually he brought the DVR box in and goes, "Is this going down here in the living room?"

"No, actually, put it in the room right at the top of the stairs."  :evil:


My Dad is technologically retarded lol.  He goes to maybe 5 websites on the internet and doesn't like remotes with more than a power button, numbers, and volume control. :lol:  I totally snaked the DVR box, and the rest of the TV's in the house still have regular cable and mine now has all the menus, ON DEMAND, etc..  PLUS I was able to hook my PC speakers and subwoofer up to the box so now my TV is ballin'!  My Dad and bro don't even know we got a box. 

I'm such an asshole hahaha.

This blazing internet is nice.  I do a lot of heavy downloading and it's shaved major time off the downloads.

If you ever call for comcast tech support and they say they are in Winnipeg Canada, trust me when I say hang up the phone. I know plent of people who work at their tech support call center and all we ever did was fuck with people who called in. Transferring people to the spanish line, or pizza hut ect...

Once you go DVR...you'll never want to go without it again.  Pausing and rewinding TV is the shit.  I don't think you're so much an asshole as you are the smartest person in your home. :yesnod:  Good job!
