i need advice for my anger

i have always been an optimistic person, no enemys, get along with everyone, even been know to cheer up people at funerals. but latley i been really mad at everything, at first i thought it was just roadrage but it's been getting worse. i been smashing things i own because of little their little anoyances. i been having a hard time talking my close freinds and even parents.

i used to smoke weed but quit in 06, i broke down and started doing it again for a week but i been clean now for 2 weeks. other than that i dont do drugs.

any advice? pills? see a doc? :confused: i heard maybe xanex might help but dont know for sure.

How long has it been since you quit smoking weed again?...Depending on how heavy your use was in that short time it could just be some mood swings from that.

Drugs wont help you when you are just depressed. They make it worse imo. Figure out wtf is making you depressed and change some shit. Magic pills don't exist.

I went through the same shit you are. I was unhappy with my life and i didn't even know it. I didn't know how to change, so i joined the marine corps for a few years. When i got out i was right as rain. the marine corps was a bit fucked up, but they taught me how to live my life and value the things i have. If not the millitary, find something that will center you. Up and move, start new. Something.

Change the way you dress. Shave your head. Mix it up a bit. Meet new people. Find a girl to love. Or a man, im not judging. Get a dog, take him on walks and brush him everyday. Pic up a instrument and master that bitch, start a band. If you are depressed like this, drugs are not the answer. Cept maybe a bit of weed now and then. Stay away from booze, it is a depresant.

Change up your shit, because you are not happy. Don't go on the pill. Find the root of your issues.

Go running, take kickboxing, join a gym, or do something to relive the stress and energy too.

Due to the alleged economic meltdown going on, there is Even More Fear Than Before! being generated...oceans of it.  If you are sensitive (and who isn't), you could be picking up on that massive vibe.  You may wish to learn to clear and shield your energy (very easy, you can use breath) and consider Kada's advice, it will help you channel, direct and disperse it.

stress management dude, find some natural ways to relax everynight that work for you, like guided meditation, breathing exercises, and such.  Those helped me with depression and anxiety way more than any pill could.

Yeah, stop weed for pills. Fucking stupid. Weed helps me, that is all that helps, and that is all that does. Peace comes from inside yourself, mostly.

Yea man, your going to need to put EFFORT into this. Don't go for the pills.

You seem to be reaching out, so that is a good sign. Take the advice from my previous post and run with it. Do NOT start taking pills for your problems. A little weed isn't going to hurt you, just don't become dependant on the need to get high to kill the feelings you are having. Pills will kill all emotion and make you a robot, plus they are addictive as hell.

I don't know you at all, but you described someone who needs to spice up their life. The same old same old is buggin, and you need to make a effort to change. You are so angry because you are not happy with how your life is right now. I don't do drugs because im unhappy or i need to fill a void, i do drugs because i am lovin life, and they make everything even better when i want to celebraite just livin. If i get in a rut i don't even drink because i know that is no way to pull yourself out of it.

Why not go do some fighting?

Muay Thai will hammer you so hard physically and release all your anger that you actually exist in a pretty chilled state.

Plus you end up in top peak fitness.

It may just be withdrawal from weed,find a hobby or go inward and figure out the root cause of your unhappiness

really tho i'm not depressed, i just been irritated to the piont of loss of control with my anger, im smashing my things and fighting the urge to go off on everybody i come in contact with. i hope this is just a mood swing from comeing off of weed. my problem is little minoot things set me off to where thinking rationaly seems piontless, but i always settle down after a moment.

i get the worst when im talking to someone and they dont make sense or they dont understand what im talking about, almost like i'm to intelligent for the people around me...which only makes me even madder because thats nowhere near true. maybe i should pack up and move:shrug: but really, just knowing other people are/have been through this is helping me.:thumbup:

actually one of the things that makes me angriest are replies I get on the shroomery,

but for a couple weeks I diligently practiced keeping my attention centered in my body and I found it was much easier to let go of the anger when it began to arise

everyone is different and insanity is just a term come up with recently, to explain the people that cant be explained, and also to put them people down, make them feel 'damaged' and lock 'em up with other crazy people and just throw tranquilizers at them.  but thats just the forced opinions of scared people.  people have always called me strange weird different to the point that i learned a very powerful tool. dont listen to anyone, who cares, dont let other people effect you negatively even the slightest bit.  paraphrasing buddha: only take from my teachings what you can use.  or somethin like that.  well im antisocial as you might can tell, but i like it that way.

Anger is not a separate entity, its an emotion so just learn to control it.  Its that simple.

If its part of weed withdrawal then just wait it out.
