booze to sedate?...angry as hell...need to calm down,befo i seriously hurt someone...

as u prob know my  living sit with my dad suketh bad
i'm angry as hell at him n i've been tryin to calm down for a whole day.
my pulse is high n i feel sick, i wish he'd die or just go away
i really need to calm down,
fuker took all my meds
all i have to csedate  myself is cheap vodka...
will this do trick?
n how long do effects o booze usually last?
i havn't gotten drunk for almost 2 yrs (since stroke)

Dont get drunk now either.

Pour yourself an ounce at the most, then lie in bed in darkness, eyes closed, and calm yourself down.

Light and activity will only excite you further. No druigs, go to bed and try to chill. It may take an hour but you will eventually calm down.

Play some music if you've got an instrument, listen to some if you don't. Paint if you can, smear and splatter if you can't. Do something to release a little mental and physical energy on something you can control and create and you will feel calmer and more in control of your feelings. Even a good workout will do.

go for a run or work out and then take a hot shower and relax to some t.v

Lucid, I don't want to foul your mood up any further but..

If you are a heavy daily user of benzos for months on end, you're going to have to have some benzos. You could get seizures if you don't.

nope havn't used benzos in 1.5 yrs but i drank heavily last fall when  soc worker told me i had to either live in nursing home(baaaaaaaaaad) or with evil dad
then i quit drinkin for quite some time cuz i was so mad at dad that i worked out 24/7 hopin to get better soon so i could kick his ass
but then docs told me i aint never gettin better...

Nursing home isn't bad dude, it CANNOT be worse than where you are at right now. At least you will get your medication there, and they will be helpful of you. You won't be in pain and they won't control you.

THEY ARE THERE TO HELP. GET HELP... seriously does no body have this dudes number or something? Someone call the fucking police or somebody.

i can't decide, i could go live with my mom just as controling as dad but at least not mean(she arranged for a yr of physiotherapy n bought me  a computer)
if i could just fig out how to responsibly n effectively use booze as anelgesic i'd be ok,
cuz over last yr i've lern't how to make weak but yummy booze from guava juice n bread yeast
it's too mild but at least it tastes nice n gives me a mild buzz when combined with benadryl or doxylamine

Lie down in darkness already!

All this posting and activity keeps you excited. Have a single shot of vodka, lie in your bed in darkness, close your eyes and mother nature will assure that you calm down quite a bit.

Lisa was permabanned a looooong time ago, and Martin is still around from time to time, although not as frequently as he used to be.  Both are from Toronto; are you?

Don't want to worsen your mood, but from what I know about your situation, this sounds like an options worth serious consideration. If you're in pain and having to resort to drinking to numb it, that's horrible. If you go to a nursing home they're going to help you, you'll get the right medication. Or at least think about living with your mum and seeing a doctor or something.

damn, mom came all the way from nyc to help me move to her place but she also took my last benzo(which i saved from my last citi - they give an ativan to keep  ppl from freakin out in machine)
seeing her attitude i've decided not to stay with her.
wish somone here would send me some benzos, ambian or codeine or a 44 to quickly take care o inevitable
damn, i wuz doing ok, aboot 9 yrs ago,happily married n all - but i'm lucky enuff to have an AVM in my brain
