NYE plans just went to hell

The person who was supposed to be driving me to Georgia to see Widespread Panic with just got his 3rd offense OWI and is sitting in jail right now. This really puts a damper on my plans, hmm, how horrible are bus rides?

well...if you like looking at weird people, they're the pinnacle of transportative entertainment. On the other hand, i suggest you bring water, candy, fruit, a sandwich, and headphones with TONS of batteries.

Or better yet convince him to give up the booze. He's a pretty good hearted guy. I guess we are still going now and he has a temporary liscense good untill January 7th. Pretty lucky for now but he faces 6 months in jail and alot of fines and the hell of carrying a felony for the rest of his life, hopefully if nothing else he has learned his lesson.. or will by the time this is over with. Atleast he hasn't hurt anyone.
