lying on a loan ap.

I need to get a personal loan for about 1500$ and i havent worked in awhile and was wondering how in depth they check your work history out.  Could i get away with having a friends number on there and him saying that ive worked for him for the past 4 years or so?  Do they check tax records at all?  Ive had a loan through this bank before for a car and paid it off no problem and i wont have any problem paying this one off.  Just wondering if its possible?

it's pretty iffy to lie on a loan ap.  if they bust you you'll be fucked for future legit loans man.

I've knew someone who lied about a job they had one but they were working for a temp agency and claimed they were an actual employee of the company they were stationed at, and I think they said they got $10/hr instead of 8 plus put down they worked 50hrs a week which sometimes we did.  But they never checked to see if they were an actual employee or not.  This was a loan for a brand new car too.

People lie on loan applications all the time, it's not really that big of a deal. :shrug:

If you get caught you won't get the loan though.

would it work out do ya think if i had a friend vouche for me as an independent contractor and ive worked for him for a couple of years?

just not sure how in depth they go.  will they check tax statements?
