Well after taking out all the seeds and nasty shit I only ended up with a quarter. I got .8 of oil out of it does that sound right or should it of been more?

Thats probably more than usual for shitty schwag. I usually find with the decent schwag we get around here, to get about a gram per ten grams used. I have found the same ratio with dank as well, but haven't had the pleasure to work with it as much.

Oh yeah, I do a quick wash, no more than two minutes. You can increase the yield by letting it soak for longer but it is gonna be sticky and nasty.

You don't need everclear either, cheap isopropyl alcohol works just as well.

Grind ganja till course.
Put in a mason jar and fill with alcohol so that all the herb is covered.

Shake for two minutes(I like to do less, more like a minute or so.)

Then pour into panty hose over a coffee filter(I use a basket from a coffee maker to hold the filter and act as a strainer) and filter off all the plant material leaving the alcohol/hash oil on a pyrex plate.

Let the alcohol/hash oil mixture evaporate. Sometimes it may take awhile depending on how much alcohol you used. (!! Make sure to do this in a well ventilated area!!) You can use a heating pad to speed this up, but I do not recommend using heat on a stove, that is very dangerous.:snowman:

Im kind of disappointed with the outcome. I hate shcwag but this shit is so hard to work with its not even realy worth the trouble. I would get high more times off a quarter then this even tho it is shcwagg so I dont see whats so great about it.

You should have made butane honey oil instead. It's not easier to work with, but it's more potent.

I usually let mine soak for like a week. And the finer you grind it, the better.

On a separate note, hash oil that I've made has never really done much for me. Made me a little buzzed for about an hour then I ended up with a headache.

Since the shit is so hard to work with, here's what I recommend: ad a little more alcohol to the sticky mess and let it dissolve so it's more liquid. Then dip a cigarette in the liquid and set it aside and let the alcohol evaporate. Tada, hash oil cigarette without the sticky mess.

Either by putting little pancakes on top of bowls or smoking out of my bong slider backwards so I jus tput a little ball into the glass stem and heat it up from underneath.

I just save my stems and make hash out of them, it does the trick and isn't wasteful.

We used to make something called squidgy black.

Save a bit of kief or powdered plant material.  Make your oil as usual with your preferred solvent then when its evaporated add the kief/plant material to it and knead it into a ball.

Pluck bits off for bongs or roll into thin sausages for joints.

If you make it with high grade kief and bud its really fucking tasty.  :cool:
