Prolonged Mushroom Peaking

Here's how I'm thinking it'll work  (try only if you have shrooms to burn like I do)

I plan on taking 5 grams of dried EQ P. Cube tomorrow night and I was thinking about a way to prolong the peak of the trip but not necessarily get real fucked up.

I noticed even when I take 7-8 grams, or  2-3 grams, while the intensity of the trip of course is different, the duration of the peaking/trip seems to be about the same.

If you take 3.5 grams, peak, then come down a little and you take 3.5 more grams, not much more high/trip will occur, you would have to take 7 additional grams just to get close to the original peak high of the first 3.5 grams... that's just how psilocybin works.

But instead of coming down a little and coming back up again with that much shrooms, I'm thinking I found a way to not really increase the duration of the entire trip, but enhance and lengthen the peak.

I have 3.5 grams I'm going to chew up... usually takes about 20 minutes to start feeling light affects, and about 45 minutes to an hour to start peaking...  I'll have an additional 1.5 grams in capsules that I'll take immediately after eating the 3.5grams plain Which usually take around 45 minutes to feel light affects and about 1 hour and 20 minutes to peak.
My hypothesis is that, having 1.5 grams on top of 3.5grams in capsules, will act as a time release of psilocybin... since the neurological affects haven't taken full affect from the original dose, the added 1.5gram of time-released psilocybin will lengthen the peak.

Basically the 1.5 grams of capsules taken with regular chewed up shrooms will enhance the length of the peak.

Oh, and I know it wont dramatically change anything, just a little extra kick.... I'm not worried about wasting shrooms, I have plenty.


Think this will work?

no, but you will trip your balls off :grin:

your logic sounds fine, but i think the "peak" is relative. i can never really pinpoint it anyway, i just know when it's over.

Nah, the fact I can do math at all is because I do shrooms a lot :smile:

But really, I think this will work, I'll post back sunday or monday with honest results.
