Just watch her when she is with you. You can tell a lot from the way she behaves herself around you.
Try making some comments and see how she reacts. Getting drunk with her might also help the situation.

Whatever, I still think there is some kind of attraction there (it doesn't even have to be on your part), even if it's not obvious. I know I can't prove it, but I still think it's there. It doesn't mean either of you would ever act on it, but still...

You need to experience a female friend (or two or three) who you think of as just "one of the guys". Then maybe you'll understand.

On a side note... When I was 17 I had a neighbor who lived across the street. She was 21 and recently divorced.

She could have EASILY taken my virginity if I had read her signals right and played the game properly. She was a an absolute KNOCKOUT!

I'll probably be kicking myself for the rest of my life over that one! :foreheadslap:

If you don't have a chick already, and there is no attraction on your part or hers, then there is definitely is an  attraction to one of her friends or the appeal to find more girls that are "friends"..

And if he had decided he wants to try and get with her he should definitely try to find out whether or not this girl feels the same way.

Yeah, plus even if you aren't attracted to the girl in question, the fact the she's attracted to you makes her more interested in you and gives you more leeway to be yourself, which starts the whole friendship.

A lot of those girls secretly wish they could be more than just one of the guys. Or, they like being one of the guys and will be disappointed if 'one of the guys' makes a move. Usually one of the two will happen at some point.

tricky situation

sometimes asian chicks are touchy friendly to me and i close off the flags in my mind to stay hospitable and on friendly terms

one asian woman i speak to has told me her husband isnt the affectionate type and doesnt touch her in ways like massaging and playfull stuff like wrestling etc when she hurt her knee and i mentioned he should get some good massaging going on there and i could have read that anyway i wanted
