Teenage gunman in black kills 11 at German school

WINNENDEN, Germany (AP) -- A 17-year-old gunman dressed in black opened fire at his former high school in southwestern Germany on Wednesday, killing at least 11 people and injuring others before escaping, police said.

Helicopters searching for him crisscrossed the area, and police warned area residents not to pick anyone up in their cars. It was Germany's worst shooting since another teenage gunman killed 16 people and himself in another high school in 2002. LINK ... Don't they usually shoot them selves, too??:confused:

only when they have no means of escape, that's why many end up
shooting people at other locations and then killing themselves

i read the german dude shot 15 and was gunned down in a firefight in some parking lot...

9 stundents, 3 teachers and several people passing by were shot. he fled in a hijacked car, got through police barricades and was shot.

the gunman's parents had 18 fire-arms in their house, wonder what he used

Am I the only one who sees all these school shootings and doesn't think "Oh, video games/television/insanity made him kill people" but instead think "We clearly need to re-engineer our approach toward education if the social aspect is driving some to murder and suicide"

nope. we need to ban some games, artists and movies. we also must increase internet censorship and make everyone listen to grateful dead and sell more guns so people can protect themselves.
