i saw the movie a few days ago and i feel that this is the Manifest of the Dreamnauts.

I would like to make a nice discussion with whoever liked the movie also.



and when everything becomes clouds... its one of the best times in the movie...

Great movie, it really makes you think.

Lots of new views on dreams and reality, it just keeps coming. You almost have no time to ponder these things before you fins something else as intreging.

here in Greece the company who bought it decided to push it directly to the video market... so i will never have the chance too watch it in a theater.

you cant find it on video... weird things. i suppose that these kind of movies are directed to a very small percentage of population... its sad anyway.

please watch this movie sober people. the only other way to really appreciate it is maybe the 5th or 6th hour of a psilocybin trip.

This movie found it's way to me by accident. It almost seemed destined to find me if you want to go that far, because I love thinking about this kind of stuff. My sister rented what she thought was Vanilla Sky, and instead when we got home and I opened it, I found this movie. We were about to return it, but I decided to watch a bit of it just to see what we'd found. We never stopped the movie after that, and by the end I decided it was one of my favorite movies. Very interesting, different, and refreshing. I'd recommend it to anyone with an open mind  :smile:

waking life really was great, it was so well articulated. I couldnt believe how clear the ideas were stated. And trace film is always fun to watch.

Claude Rifat (or Claude de Contrecoeur) was against the term 'lucid dreaming' and i think i agree with his theories and thoughts. You can check out at http://dog.net.uk/claude note that Claude died in his sleep during the night of 31st July, 2002. Its a tragic loss. For those who dont know of his theories and work, i would definately suggest reading his texts. He was a Special man, thats for sure, or should i say a blessed man? :wink: and the film we r talking about here is really quite different if you have read Claude's texts.

The best moment of the film for me, was the conversation that led to both men transformed to clouds.... i love this scene!

I have this movie on DVD. It's one of my favorites.

I've watched the movie. I've watched it with text commentary. I've watched it with director(and others) commentary. I've watched it with closed caption.

i am almost sure that every dvd-player for the windowz has a crack or somethin' that makes them play all regions. here in greece, some people 'crack' desktop dvd players to play all regions... its like the 'patch' for playstations... :wink:

the film is a poem. what else can i say? a manifest of the Dreamnauts, imho

yeah its a wonderful movie and by far one of my favorites. did that author actually write some literature or just like books? maybe any translated into english? they have it on video here. the director of waking life is from austin texas, some other good movies to check out by him is slackers and dazed and confused, slackers being more intellectual than dazed and confused from what i can remember, but either way its been a while since ive seen it but definatly good stuff and i recommend checking out.
